Snowmobile Snow Drag Races Saturday Feb 20th are a go !

PLEASE STAY OFF THE #2 between North River Rd and Granite Woods, use Aylesford lake if you know it or stay on the #9 and head toward Berwick / Fox Mtn / Lake Paul area. 24 hour trucking for another few days, don't jeopardize the future of this trail. Dave Jones groomed the #2 up from the railbed to the #9 and the #9 from Casey's Corner over toward Fox Mtn, use these routes rather than the #2 South past Aylesford Lake to the 101.
Overall "great conditions" on higher ground. Railbed and Valley Floor are passable, depending on where the snow blew. Rail Bed 101 is groomed. Unload at Casey's Corner, Aylesford Lake, Lake Paul, Fox Mtn, Torbrook PLEASE STAY OFF THE #2 between North River Rd and Granite Woods See Tammy's post under trail conditions. Logging Trucks 24 hours a day, trying to finish up for the season ASAP... DANGER
LOGGING is also going on near Salmontail around were the #6 and 101 meet, The trail that runs out to the #12 highway. See post under trail conditions by Andrew Burchell. Stay AWAY if possible, at the very least show respect for the heavy equipment.

WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE POST TRIAL CONDITIONS IN SPECIFIC TRAILS SECTIONS IN THE FORUM, IT HELPS RIDERS AND GROOMERS MAKE THEIR PLANS.

FUN RUN WITH BRUNCH, FEB 6th. OVER 50 SNOWMOBILES Joined the SANS BOD and Executive as we showed them around the trails of AVLRR and Crossburn. Details and Photos posted under the Events Forum

The chairman of the Armstrong Lake Cottage Association out there , has already had a complaint of snowmobilers travelling at high rate of speed. This road is plowed and there is continuous motor vehicle traffic on it making it dangerous for sledders who speed or don’t pay attention.

The following trails are plowed for logging purposes 101 between Windsor and the turn off to #6 to New Ross. (Mines Rd, Butler Rd, Salmon Tail area, either side of the #12 highway)
#2 South of North River Road, (Granite Woods) near Aylesford Lake.
